The event is taking place on Bank Holiday Monday 3rd January 2011,
starting at 9:30am.

Burlesque attire is essential, we're encouraging everyone to dress to impress so if you have a full burlesque outfit and props, please bring them. For burlesque novices, please add a hint (or more!) of burlesque to your outfit, some suggestions include:

Red and/or black colours
Feathers or Boas
Gloves - the higher the better
Heels - the higher the better
Basques or corsets
And for the daring... hot pants or frilly knickers!

The day will kick off with a photoshoot in Trafalgar Square with a professional photographer and national press. The record attempt will also be filmed for online publicity - so dress to impress! By taking part in this record attempt you agree to be photographed and filmed for publicity purposes.

Following the photoshoot you will take part in a burlesque master class (at 8 Northumberland Avenue - 200m from Trafalgar Square) lead by burlesque choreographer Sharon Kay from Burlesque Baby before taking part in the world record attempt. To break the record we must have over 200 dancers all performing the same dance for at least five minutes - don't worry we're going to keep it very simple!


As a thank you, all participants on the day will go into a draw to win a fabulous 5-night holiday (incl. flights) to the Flamingo Las Vegas courtesy of Virgin Holidays. This will be drawn on the day - Terms and Conditions apply*.

Open to adults aged 18 years or over and must be UK residents, with a valid EU passport, excluding Virgin Holidays PR team and Launch Group employees.
The competition closing date will be 3rd January 2011 and the winner will be selected at random from entries.
The winner will be notified within 1 week of the closing date.
The holiday prize must be taken between March 2011 and December 2011 and excludes travel between 20 Dec - 31 Dec and is subject to availability.

The holiday for two people staying 5 nights in a standard room on a room only basis at the Flamingo.
Flights include return economy class seats on Virgin Atlantic Airways (VAA) inclusive of taxes and fuel surcharge from London Gatwick.
Transfers and associated costs are not included.

The prize is non transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative holiday or combined with any other offer, promotions or discount.
Travel insurance is not included and must be purchased before travel. Customers are responsible for making sure they are adequately insured.
