Pole Passion Bognor launches their new sister website - www.polepassion-bognor.com

This month saw the launch of Pole Passion's sister website
Pole Passion - Bognor

www.polepassion-bognor.com

Kay Penney, CEO, who created Pole Passion in 2003, is excited to see the expansion of her team and vision, which was set up to enable everyone to have the opportunity to practice movements on and around the pole.

Pole Passion Bognor & Pole Passion Littlehampton are headed by Sue Thompson who established her license area in 2011.

Sue started as a Pole Passion student in 2009 at Pole Passion Redhill, and soon gathered enough confidence and skills to become an instructor and add her own skills and style to the Pole Passion community of instructors. She now has nearly 100 students who regularly attend her seven classes a week, over her five venues and two areas. To achieve this whilst also juggling her young family and other part time job, Sue is supported by her team of instructors, apprentices and assistants, Amy, Karla, Kelly, Arion and Julie.

Over the last five years Sue has introduced a number of new, exciting classes to her students, including classes in Stretch and Flexibility, Contemporary Choreography, Exotic Choreography, Strength and Conditioning and Pilates for Pole.

This new website is an exciting development that will put all the information about the Pole Passion Bognor and Littlehampton classes in one place, as well as giving the students access to a new integrated online booking system. Sue hopes that the new website will continue to educate people about the benefits of pole fitness and bring new students in, to try it out.

Pole Passion Karla McCarthy opening Pole Passion Bersted classes in 2015

I'm Karla McCarthy.

I teach pole for Pole Passion out of Bersted Park Community Centre on the outskirts of Bognor and also work as an apprentice in our Pole Passion Littlehampton venue.

I originally attended pole classes a little apprehensive as to what I would find. Little did I know all that time ago that I would not only find the most fantastic all over body work out, but I would also find my second family!

Now not only do I still attend classes with my own instructor, but I also teach. I love teaching pole.
Each class is filled with men and woman from all walks of life, all looking for something different and fun. My classes start with a choreographed warm up, shaking off the stress of the day and having a little fun at the same time.
We then move on to working on your lesson plans before cooling down at the end of the session. Classes are mainly focussed around the sportier side of pole however for variation choreography workshops do run regularly and are always great fun.

I look forward to welcoming you to a class soon!

As I always say, why be ordinary, when you can pole?

Superman Pole Workshop hosted by Pole Passion Advanced Instructor Sue Thompson Budapest 2014

Superman Pole Workshop hosted by Pole Passion Advanced Instructor Sue Thompson - Budapest Internation Pole Passion Retreat 2014
www,polepassion.com - www.poepassion-events.com

Is Superman your pole kryptonite?

Do you love it or hate it?
Can your thighs handle 90mins of transitions into and out of this essential pole move?
Are you (super) man enough?

Often avoided by students and instructors because it can be (shall we say) a little uncomfortable on the inner thigh area, the Superman move is a beautiful pose with enough transitions in and out to be included in any routine.

Suitable for those who are comfortably inverting, this workshop will focus on identifying individual student strengths and utilising them to create tidy, seamless and (slightly less uncomfortable) superman transitions.

For those who have yet to master the move we will look at three different ways into it and safe controlled ways out.

For those of you more comfortable with the move, we will look at a few more advanced ways into it and some more daring ways out.

For those that are super(man) confident we have some fun doubles and assisted versions to try.

So.. Can you (super) man up and take the pain?

Everyone who gets through the workshop and can walk out unaided gets a free Superman Tshirt*

If you have any questions just get in touch.   theteam@passion-fitness.com
Hope to see you there!

Sue xx

*super powers not included

Superwoman craft section

Has your workshop left you walking like a (super) man?

Are you feeling bruised, pumped and unfeminine?

Come along to our 'Pimp My Shirt' workshop and customise your superman shirt to reveal your inner (super) woman.

This session will be an opportunity to adapt your shirt. Perhaps just with a 'I'm too super for this shirt' rip or knot

Or perhaps full on fabric pens, bling, sequins and crystals.
Whatever your style, join us in this informal creative session.
Some craft materials will be supplied but please feel free to bring your own sewing materials, scissors and glue.

A must have Tshirt accessory for all pole workshops

Pole fitness and dance gradings certificates from Pole Passion

Pole Passion grading 3rd November 2013

Review

Congratulations go to the nine members of the Pole Passion Fitness classes who successfully completed their grading this afternoon at Nuffield Health and Well Being gym in Crawley.

The grading is a place where students can show off their skills to family and friends without the fear of being wrongly judged and in a professional private, fitness environment
For nearly all the students it was their first ever time to perform their practised routines in front of a non paying audience for fun, fitness and a confidence boost. ‘Im very nervous but excited at the same time, this is the first time I have ever done anything like this.’ stated Debbie Reason, who won best entertaining level 1 routine of the afternoon.
Debbie from Pole Passion Reigate school was joined by other areas of  Pole Passion including schools operating out of Chichester, Chertsey, Bognor and Crawley, there were spectators from Worthing, Brighton & Hove and Redhill.
The grading is a unique concept to pole fitness and to Pole Passion’s school of teachings and was set up by Founder Kay Penney in 2009.  With the objective to support those students, in their continual professional developments for that of the students and instructors alike.
Routines are just a small element of the teachings at Pole Passion

The day ended with the trainer assessor Andi Ariseanu,  demonstrating a 5 minute professional pole fitness performance to, ‘Say My Name (spectrum) Florence and the machine’.
The grading take place between 3 and 4 times per year. www.polepassion.com
