Applications are now open to apply for the 2018 championships with even more categories, following in the footsteps or our pole greats such as Felix Cane, Jenyene Butterfly, Zoraya Judd, Bendy Kate, Natalia Tatarinseva, Jade and Yvette, Lisette and Terri, Evengy,  Dimitry and Ke Hong to name just a few!!

Hello Kay!  Thank you very much for your congratulations - it's a great honour for me.

 I'm happy to answer your questions!

1. Winning this competition means a dream came true. I was focused on a successful performance on this championship,  all that was on my mind was my routine,  and all that I was doing this past months was targeted for the world championship. I am so happy that I placed first,  it means that all happened in the right place at the right time for me.

2. I am scared to look courageous but I seriously was travelling for this competition with a big hope to win. I knew that all the competitors are super talented and strong athletes but it's all about being confident in yourself and in your success.

3. The hardest part for me was to fight the fear right before going on stage, focusing yourself into the right mood and giving all of yourself emotionally on stage. I wanted all the audience to smile while watching my performance. I wanted to send my positive vibes to everyone present. I hope I succeeded with that.

4. In my plans for the near future is to finish university with excellence. but whatever has to do with pole dance,  I am travelling for workshops around Russia. There are interesting prepositions about working abroad. During summer I shall be working in pole camps. Of course I will continue to thrive in pole dance and create unique performances for competitions and showcases.

5. My next step is to thrive as a performer and create a programme of successful workshops  and maybe some day open up my own dance studio.

Bendy Kate teaches Sinitta how to pole dance in just 10 lessons

World Pole Sport & Fitness Pole Dance Champion 2014, Bendy Kate is all set to put Sinitta (singer) to her paces in a new TV entertainment  show, Get Your Act together, which starts on 18th January 2015.

Sinitta famous for songs in the 80’s, ‘I don’t believe in miracles’  and - So Macho also an 80’s favourite - 1987 Sony Music Entertainment UK Limited

Sinitta quotes her pole dancing experience was, ‘The most intense weeks ever, and in only 10 lessons over three weeks, a totally transformed body, crazy muscles and tremendous strength’

Tickets for this years Miss Pole Dance UK - professional competition will be going on sale from 14th February 2009.
As always, the Miss Pole Dance UK competition strives to bring the art of pole dance into the mainstream, to exhibit this athletic and artistic dance form in a positive manner.
Neither the date nor the venue have been announced as yet, but as soon as tickets are available, details will be posted here. The show will be jaw dropping, bigger than ever. Watch this space…………

Miss Pole Dance (UK) has set the standard for competitive Pole Dancing & Pole fitness by making it accessible and accepted as a fitness and highly technical dance form open to both amateurs and professional female dancers alike.

The 2008 Miss Pole Dance UK Competition will be held at Scala in London on 16th October 2008. Tickets for this exciting event are now on sale. Applications forms and Rules and Regulations will be available to download from our website from the 1st of August 2008

All entry forms must be returned by the 1st of October along with a signed copy of the rules and regulations, registration fee and a photocopy of your passport. Pre auditions will be held in various locations which will include; Brighton, London, Manchester, Cheshire, Ireland, Scotland, Wales.

Dates will be confirmed by August.

Miss Pole Dance is currently open to all females both amateurs and professional dancers alike. Operating under strict rules encouraging both the art of pole dancing and the fitness sport element. Miss Pole Dance (UK) 2008 will require the dancer’s individual interpretation to be taken into account with each of the finalists having to demonstrating their athletic strength and flexible ability for this unique sport and dance style.

2007 saw the introduction of new and exciting dance choreography for doubles which allows both amateur and professional partnerships.

Applications forms and Rules and Regulations will be available to download from our website from the 1st August 2008. All entry forms must be returned by the 1st of October along with a signed copy of the rules and regulations, registration fee and a photocopy of your passport.

Pre auditions will be held in various locations which will include; London, Brighton, Manchester, Cheshire, Ireland, Scotland, Wales. Dates will be confirmed by August.

We will also be accepting online auditions through You Tube, Face book or alternatively you can send us a DVD of your performance. All the criteria stated in the rules and regulations remains for the video clip. Your video clip entry will only be considered on receipt of your application form, registration fee, signed copy of the rules and regulations and a copy of your passport.

Entries will include 3 categories of: Glamour, Fitness and Synchronised Doubles where the dancer’s individual interpretation will be taken into account with each of the finalists having to demonstrate their athletic strength and flexible ability required for this unique sport and dance style. Points awarded are handicapped to give all finalists of each category, glamour and fitness, an equal chance of winning.

VIP allows exclusive access to The Glass Bar which is on a mezzanine level overlooking the Main stage and allows excellent view of the dance floor and stage through large glass windows. This bar has low lighting, table seating and carpeted lounging areas giving an intimate atmosphere and access from here to a side balcony overlooking the main room. There will also be burlesque and show performers including Miss Pole Dance competitors within the VIP areas.

A glass of Champagne will be available on entry to the VIP area.
