Burlesque Instructor Training for Fitness

NEW Instructor training focusing on the ART of Burlesque by Burlesque Passion

Testimonial ~ January 2011 Burlesque Instructor participant

Participant New to Burlesque but has a back ground of Cabaret dance and shows
Zumba dance fitness professional and instructor

‘After having time to process the information on the course, I just wanted to say again a big thank you for the quality and content of the course delivered. I can honestly say even I'm walking taller now - If your instructors pass on a minimal percentage of what they learn on that course then both they and the people around them can consider themselves very lucky.

This course should be recommended to all mums once the kids are out of nappies - Empowering is an understatement. Thanks again Tina (and Jon my partner ;) )x

I have already sold out two introductory courses, and have a waiting list for Block courses to begin in March 2011. Been booked for the local WI!!!! on a private/closed workshop basis, asked to do a workshop in Selby and Bedfordshire –

I could not be happier being a bit closer to my cabaret roots (I know it’s not cabaret but actually I am preferring this side more, maybe it’s an age/confidence thing!).

Looking forward to seeing you again in March.'

We are getting fantastic feedback particularly from our very own founder of Pole Passion & Burlesque Passion for Fitness Kay Penney aka Ana Dupre, who wowed the 300 strong audience of men and women of all ages with her witty, sexy & empowering techniques during her 45 minute presentation.
The event has raised over £10,000 which is outstanding.

‘It’s a time I can give back, I always like to support 3 to 4 cancer charities per year.’ mentions Kay. With Kay being personally effected by cancer in 2006 and who had nursed her mother through her final days of cancer in 2008, where one in three of us now being diagnosed with cancer at some point in our life and with 7000 people diagnosed with cancer every year in Sussex alone, Macmillan services have never been in more demand.
Everyone’s support and generosity will enable Macmillan to raise funds to provide further expert treatment, care and information for patients and their families to help meet the enormous challenge of making Macmillan services available to all who need them at whatever stage of their cancer journey.

We have many people saying they would love to do it all again.... so we will be back next year ..... if you would like to join us – let us know here at Pole Passion email us at - theteam@polepassion.com.

We have many photos on our facebooks pages too please have a look.

Burlesque Passion

IT'S Fans & Fishnets ~ all in the name of fitness!!

After leading the way in pole dance and fitness techniques since 2003 within the UK, Pole Passion or ‘Burlesque Passion’ as the sector is known, is set to take the UK by storm with its new and innovative movements and techniques inspired by the burlesque dancing, fitness Pilates and yoga genre.

Burlesque Passion or Burlates as it is sometimes referred to, created by Kay Penney aka Ana Dupre, said it combined Pilates' core strength and flexibility with some sexy shimmies and hip rolls to create a glam workout fit for the gym boudoir!!

Empowerment confidence fitness & FUN

is the ethos of Burlesque Passion

It's equally as spiritual as pole fitness however with the costume additions suitable for gyms is way more sexier, as Kay wanted her students to be playful whilst finding a healthy inner and outward self-confidence.
‘My own philosophy, influenced by 20 years of conventional fitness techniques incorporating, yoga and Pilates, is that women are too hard on themselves and we need to lose that self doubt, by becoming more at one with our own body images and mental confidence’.
Confidence is sexy therefore we teach posture, deportment and breathing techniques before we approach the dance steps formulating choreographed routines whereby some students may wish to progress and perform publically if they so choose.
